It will be installed on a half-mile stretch of U.S. 285 near Fairplay, Colorado south of Breckenridge.

> Integrated Roadways is partnering with Kiewit Infrastructure Co., Cisco Systems, WSP Global and Wichita Concrete Pipe for the pilot project.

> This is being developed along with 5G as part of the nationwide infrastructure for driverless cars.

> Each interlocking slab of smart pavement will contain fiber optic mesh configured similar to a touch screen computer. The pavement will sense the instantaneous position, weight, and velocity of every vehicle on the road. Each slab will also contain antennas under the pavement that will send the data wirelessly to your car.

> The smart pavement is supposed to pay for itself by selling apps that also deliver data from the road to the car’s occupants. “Imagine travel, dining, lodging and other services being delivered à la carte to individual drivers on demand,” touts Integrated Roadway on its website. The road itself, says the company, “will become the next Information Super Highway.”

> “Once cars do become autonomous, smart pavement unleashes the possibilities of what you can do in the car instead of driving,” said a May 21, 2018 article in the Kansas City Star. “For some, that might be working, while for others, it might be gaming or streaming movies. It could essentially turn your car into a mobile living room.”

RE: VOTE FOR ROBERT C. NEWMAN, II FOR GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA

Dear Friends,

I would urge all of you who are registered voters in California to vote for Robert C. Newman, II for Governor of California. Dr. Newman is a Research Clinical Psychologist who understands the human mind as well as the people in California. I have known Robert Newman for over a decade and he has been reading and studying my articles, emails and letter on a regular basis. In addition to being a research clinical psychologist, he is the only gubernatorial candidate who has traveled to nearly every part of our state and has done his own research about California.

For example, Dr. Newman did research about the Oroville Dam and the water crises throughout California. He is also aware of the neglect by Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom whose duties included the managing of California’s land and water resources that covers the maintenance of the Oroville Dam, which is actually an earth-filled dam that must require regular inspections. If it is neglected, the dam site will burst causing severe floods and a massive loss of stored water.

Dr. Newman is also aware of the CAFR or the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the State of California, which is a statement of the state’s net worth rather than the “budget” that can deceive the people with Sacramento’s desire to obtain more income or expenses from those who pay taxes by deliberately not informing them of the “hidden wealth” that could actually be used to finance or pay for most projects. By the way, nearly every type of government, from state to local level, which would include most school districts, has its ownCAFR or a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, which is seldom ever released to the public. So consider what could happen in Sacramento if Robert C. Newman, II were to become elected as the next Governor of California. State services would improve while your taxes would also decrease. Why? Because the state’sCAFR would no longer be hidden from the public. JWS
