RE: ISLA LA ORCHILA, VENEZUELA AND NORTH KOREA

 

Dear Mr. President:

 

It is only appropriate for me to commend you for preventing a thermonuclear war with North Korea after recognizing that such a threat does exist by your steadfast determination to reach a solution with Chairman Kim Jong Un and his regime at Pyongyang. Since you have taken action, there has not been one missile launched nor one nuclear warhead tested. Although we are still far from reaching a denuclearized Korean Peninsula, at least there is no longer the hostility of the past that went back beyond 1950 when it was a “puppet” nation of the Soviet Union during the Stalin era. However, you need to become aware that the DPRK’s rocket engines were made in Moscow Industrial Region of Russia and that China has also provided advanced technology for the North Korean’s missile and nuclear programs. So if Pyongyang were to ever consider striking at the United States, Washington would need to respond to Moscow and Beijing in the same manner as did President John F. Kennedy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

 

Construction of a Russian Air Force base on Isla La Orchila, an island in the Caribbean Sea administered by Venezuela, began nearly a decade ago. It currently has one of the longest air fields in the Western Hemisphere. This Russian deployment represents one of the largest within that region since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 and the Nicaraguan Missile Crisis in 1983 for the invasion by the U.S. for the extremely long “intermediate airfield” for refueling then under construction on Grenada needed to accommodate the Soviet An-124 Antonov Ruslan transport on a “stop-over” before reaching Punta Huete, Nicaragua in Central America with Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles armed with Thermonuclear Warheads to strike at America.

RE: THE NEED TO ACQUIRE THE BEST TALENT IN YOUR ADMINISTRATION

 

Dear Mr. President:

 

While you were away at Hanoi in Vietnam, I watched the premier of a new TV series on ABC by the title of Whiskey Cavalier, which had a scene where a helicopter was fired at by a Soviet type of rocket launcher that completely destroyed it when taking off. What happened reminded me of the time that I was driving on the freeways of Orange County in Southern California during the mid-1980s in the fast lane homeward bound to our home in Santa Ana when a car was following with a driver apparently from Central America. All of a sudden, he opened his left door to reveal a rocket launcher pointed directly at my car on a curvilinear section of the freeway that veered to left giving him a clear view and an uninterrupted line of fire for targeting me. Without a single moment to lose, I rapidly changed lanes to evade him by breaking the speed limit while aware of his firepower. By finally exiting, and his following at such a high speed, he went through traffic signals at the off-ramp, crossed the street and re-entered the on-ramp back onto the freeway. My neighbor later described the same man from Central America who was parked earlier in his car across the street from our home. For me to be stalked and targeted in such a manner by a foreign agent had definitely revealed that I was considered to be far more of a threat for my knowledge than nearly any official in Washington during the so-called Cold War.

 

At that time, during the Reagan Administration, I had actually put my life on the line when the Second Soviet Missile Crisishad occurred in the Caribbean Sea and Central America.

 

However, the Third Russian Missile Crisis is now occurring at La Orchila Island, Venezuela and at Punta Huete,Nicaragua.

THE SECOND SUMMIT OF TRUMP AND KIM HELD IN HANOI, VIETNEM

It is already Thursday, February 28 in Hanoi, which is the capital city for Vietnam, and the final agreement between the United States and North Korea has been prepared for the approval by the leaders President Donald John Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un. Although I have no way of knowing the contents of the reached upon agreement at this time, it will probably include rather few signs leading towards complete denuclearization by Pyongyang or any lifting of sanctions by Washington. However, there will be at least some attempts to diminish hostility between the U.S. and the DPRK.

 

We must keep in mind if Kim were to attempt to completely denuclearize at this time, he would probably be immediately replaced by a Stalinist Communist leader who is determined to destroy the United States with ICBMs armed withThermonuclear Warheads with the support of Russia and China.

 

If Kim has revealed any signs of being worried, it is the risk he faces from his adversaries while he is away from Pyongyang rather than about his meeting with Trump at Hanoi in Vietnam.

 

It is rather doubtful if Trump will leave from the second summit with Kim with any significant measures of success. Because it could only come from the results acquired by our U.S. Special Representative for North Korea, Stephen E. Biegun, during his visits to Pyongyang whose close ties to Russian and Chinese bankers and the agenda of The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) do not represent the best interests of the American people and the United States. JWS

 

 

 

 

“BEGIN THE BIEGUN?”

During the 1940s, there was a song, “Begin the Beguine” composed and written about a dance called the Beguine. However, my title for this article was derived from the name of Stephen E. Biegun who is currently serving as the U.S. Special Representative for North Korea after he had resigned from his position on the Board of Directors at The U.S. Russia Foundation. While he speaks the Russian language fluently and had previously served in Russia for the Ford Motor Company, his credentials as a foreign policy expert do not impress me in spite of him being so well connected due to having such a strong involvement with the Council of Foreign Relations or CFR as is the case for National Security Adviser John R. Bolton and other members of President Donald J. Trump’s Cabinet and White House Staff.

 

In the administration of President George W. Bush, Mr. Biegun served as executive secretary of the National Security Council and he reported directly to Dr. Condoleezza Rice, who then served as National Security Adviser and later as U.S. Secretary of State. Because both were fluent in the Russian language, they were able to negotiate with Russian officials in Russia and Kazakhstan when Chevron and other major multinational oil corporations were investing in the Aral-Caspian Basin of landlocked Central Asia that led to proposed pipeline routes and the war in Afghanistan due to the Taliban failing to approve of a pipeline route that would have passed through western Afghanistan, including Herat Province, from Turkmenistan to Pakistan at a port on the Arabian Sea that would lead to the Indian Ocean and markets overseas. This war still continues to exist.

 

Since then, Stephen E. Biegun has become very well-connected to bankers in China and Russia.

 

However, when it comes to his present role related to negotiating with officials in Pyongyang, I am rather doubtful about his ability to make any significant progress with North Korea because he does not appear to have the capability to initiate any meaningful proposals that might become considered by Chairman Kim Jong Un as being adequately beneficial for taking steps leading to denuclearization. JWS

RE: SECOND SUMMIT WITH CHAIRMAN KIM JONG UN AT HANOI IN VIETNAM

 

Dear Mr. President:

 

As mentioned by me in an earlier email letter, you cannot afford to exert too much pressure upon Chairman Kim Jong Un without causing him to be replaced by a Stalinist at Pyongyang during a coupe. It is better to have a leader in North Korea who is politically unable to denuclearize than a replacement who would not hesitate to strike directly at America.

 

Although economic conditions are apparently now on the table, I am not aware about what they would include. However, based upon previous statements coming out of Washington, they would probably not provide very strong incentives for Chairman Kim to consider denuclearization.

 

Even at this time, the United States has not taken the initiative to provide any humanitarian aid to the starving people in North Korea. Such a goodwill action might open doors toward meaningful negotiations.

 

As for my earlier proposal for an economic deal with Pyongyang, I doubt if it ever reached your desk in the Oval Office. So until you can provide Chairman Kim with a plan that would motivate him to consider denuclearization, it will probably never happen.

Dear Mr. President:

 

Perhaps you may have seen the motion picture titled “Heartbreak Ridge” with Clint Eastwood that tells the story of U.S.armed forces being deployed to Grenada, an island in the Caribbean Sea, to rescue American medical students in 1983 after leader Maurice Bishop of the New Jewel Movement had been placed under house arrest and later executed by the People’s Revolutionary Army firing squad. However, the real reason for the United States invading Grenada was due to a very long runway that was then under construction for the main purpose of providing a stop-over needed for refueling the Soviet air transport before deploying its cargo of Thermonuclear Weapons to Punta Huete in Nicaragua where another very long airstrip was being constructed, which would have enabled the Soviet Union to launch so many Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missiles armed with Thermonuclear Warheads that would have been able to strike directly at the United States within minutes after landing. Today, that airfield on Grenada is now the Maurice Bishop International Airport.

 

About a decade ago, Russian President Vladimir V. Putin, in violation of the INF Treaty, had authorized the construction of a very long asphalt airport on La Orchila Island located in the Caribbean Sea and administered by Venezuela that can accommodate very large air transports capable of deploying several missile launchers and many Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missiles armed with Thermonuclear Warheads that can be launched within minutes after landing on La Orchila Island or at Punta Huete Airport in Nicaragua, the longest runway in all of Central America.

 

So, not only did La Orchila Island replace Grenada as a Russian Air Force base, but it is in a better location for striking at all regions of the continental United States.

RE: ANALYSIS OF NICARAGUA, NORTH KOREA, RUSSIA AND VENEZUELA

 

Dear Mr. President:

 

Due to your scheduled forthcoming second summit soon with Chairman Kim Jong Un at Hanoi in Vietnam, I shall try to be rather brief about my recent geopolitical analysis by ranking in order of concern Venezuela, Russia, North Korea and Nicaragua in Central America.

 

Venezuela: While I am concerned about humanitarian aid being able to enter into Venezuela for the starving people and the Marxist dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro, I am even more concerned about a potential Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missile Nuclear attack from La Orchila Island in the Caribbean from a Russian Air Force base with very long runways on the island.

 

Russia: The Kremlin in Moscow has violated the INF Treaty by building very long airstrips on La Orchila Island, which is administered by Venezuela and at Punta Huete in Nicaragua that can land large air transports deploying mobile missile launchers and also many Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missiles armed with Thermonuclear Warheads. North Korea’s rocket engines have been manufactured in Russia at factories in the Moscow Industrial District.

 

North Korea: If Washington continues to exert more pressure on Kim Jong Un, Pyongyang will replace him with a Stalinist hardliner who will become far more hostile towards America.

 

Nicaragua: The very long runway can accommodate the very large air transports that can deploy mobile missile launchers and so many Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missiles armed with Nuclear

Warheads that can be launched at the United States within minutes after reaching Punta Huete.

RE: THE PRESENT CLANDESTINE RUSSIAN MISSILE CRISIS IN LATIN AMERICA

 

Dear Mr. President:

 

Besides being the first American scientist and geopolitical analyst to call your attention to North Korea’s capability to strike with ICBMs armed with Thermonuclear Warheads at any region in the continental United States, I must now also warn you about Russia’s current capability for striking at America with Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missiles armed withThermonuclear Warheads launched from an island called La Orchila in the Caribbean Sea and at Punta Huete in Central America within a few minutes after mobile missile launchers are unloaded from very large air transports such as the Antonov An-124 Ruslan and the Antonov An-225 Mriya.

 

La Orchila Island, located in the Lesser Antilles, is administered and claimed by Venezuela and the Russian Air Force has already constructed a runway on the island that is 3,200 meters or 10,007 feet in length, which is almost two miles long. In addition to this asphalt runway, the Russians are building a larger airfield that will probably be 3,500 meters or 11,483 feetlong and 30 meters or 197 feet wide, which will be able to accommodate many Antonov An-225 Mriya air carriers that are scheduled to be produced this year during 2019 in China or Russia.

 

The airfield at Punta Huete Airport in Nicaragua has the longest runway in Central America.

RE: LA ORCHILA ISLAND RUSSIAN AIR FORCE BASE AND ANTONOV An-225

 

Dear Mr. President:

 

The Russian Air Force base on La Orchila Island in the Caribbean Sea has a runway that is 3,200 meters or 10,007 feetlong that is now in operation. It is now able to accommodate the Antonov An-124 Ruslan strategic military heavy air transport that can carry 150 tons of cargo as well as the much larger Antonov An-225 Mriya, which not just able to airlift up to 630 tons of cargo inside its fuselage, but it also is able to launch missiles or spacecraft in mid-air up to 70 meters or 230 feet in length.

 

In addition, the Russian Air Force is also constructing another airfield that will be at least 3,500 meters or 11,483 feet long and 30 meters or 197 feet wide, which will be ideal for landing the Antonov An-225 Mriya air transports on La Orchila Island as a stopover for refueling before continuing westward on the course to Punta Huete Airport in Nicaragua, the longest runway in Central America, from where mobile missile launchers could be unloaded in only a matter of a few minutes to fire many Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missiles armed with Thermonuclear Warheads capable of reaching all strategic targets in the United States without any warning.

 

Although only one Antonov An-225 Mriya currently exists in operation, there are two possible locations where these largest air transports in the world are being manufactured and produced.

Russia has all of the parts for this giant aircraft and the machinery to produce larger quantities. China was able to obtain all of the technology from Ukraine several years ago and is expected to complete production during 2019. So Russia and/or Chinamay already have a fleet available of this massive aircraft for military deployment. But even the smaller Antonov An-124 Ruslan could be adequate for such a clandestine operation in Latin America. This is why Venezuela is a serious threat to our national security.
