Barbara Honegger, M.S. has served in high-level positions in the U.S. Government, including White House Policy Analyst, Special Assistant to the Assistant to the President, and Director of the Attorney General’s Law Review at the Department of Justice. From 1995 to 2011, Ms. Honegger served as Senior Military Affairs Journalist at the Naval Postgraduate School, the premiere science, technology and national security affairs graduate research university of the Department of Defense. Her pioneering book October Surprise on the deep story behind the Iran side of the Iran/Contra scandal subsequently confirmed by formerly classified documents [see consortiumnews.com and click on ‘The October Surprise X-Files’ under Archives] and deathbed confessions of key conspirators [see Newsweek, ‘The October Surprise Was Real!’] — led to a full-subpoena power Congressional reinvestigation funded at the level of the 9/11 Commission.
Since 9/11, Ms. Honegger has been a leading researcher, journalist, author and public speaker on the events of that day speaking at conferences and giving presentations in the U.S., Europe and Canada. Together with Richard Gage, AIA, founder of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Barbara did a joint Europe and London speaking tour in May 2018. Ms. Honegger is a Research Board Member and Officer of the Lawyers’ Committee for 9/11 Inquiry and a Member of its Petition and Complaints Drafting Committee. In April 2018 the Lawyers’ Committee filed an historic Petition with the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York demanding a Special Criminal Grand Jury to investigate the true causes of the collapses of the WTC Twin Towers and WTC7, which the U.S. Attorney granted in an official letter of Nov. 7, 2018. On March 25, 2019 the Lawyers’ Committee filed an historic lawsuit against the FBI and Dept. of Justice for the 9/11 cover up with the Federal District Court in Washington, D.C.

Ms. Honegger earned Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University; a Master of Science degree in
